On this tour, you bring all your baggage with you and after a full-day enjoying the Colca Canyon, you will be transferred directly to your hotel in Puno. This will save your time as the Colca Canyon is located in between Arequipa and Puno.
2 Day 1Night Classic Colca Canyon Tour:
This type of Colca Canyon tour is ideal for those who can allow 2 days for visiting the Colca Canyon, but don’t want to hike. During this excursion you will visit the main highlights and spends the night in Chivay, Yanque or Coporaque.
This 2 day Colca Tour includes the visit to La Calera hot springs in Chivay, The Cruz del Condor viewpoint and the main natural viewpoints. It’s optionl to do a hike from Yanque to Uyo Uyo ruins in Coporaque.
This english guided excursion price depends on the kind of accommodation you are looking for. The price goes from $80 dollars and includes: transport, full meals, entrance fee Colca Canyon, entrance fee hot springs and the overnight in Chivay in a basic hostel with private bathroom.
A private tour to the Canyon includes the visit to the Planetarium and the option to spend the night in Cabanaconde, a town located at 15 minutes from Cruz del Condor and not very popular between tourists.
2 Day Trek Colca Canyon
This 2 day Colca Canyon Trek includes an early pick up from Arequipa at 3AM for having breakfast in Chivay or Yanque and then the guided tour to Cruz del Condor viewpoint, then a 3 hour hike inside the canyon to San Juan de Chuccho for having lunch and then continue to Sangalle.
You will spend the night in Sangalle in a basic lodge. The breakfast on the second day will be in Cabanaconde and then you will return to Arequipa, visitng the main viewpoints.
Colca Canyon 3 Day Trek:
This 3-day Colca Canyon trek starts very early in the morning, at 3AM and includes the pick up from the hotel in Arequipa to allow you to visit the Cruz del Condor, hiking for around 3 hours until arrive to San Juan de Chuccho, where we will spend the first night.
The next day, you’ll hike for another 3 hours until arrive to Sangalle, an oasis located inside the Colca Canyon where you can have a relaxing time in the swimming pool. On the third day you will go up to Cabanaconde and
return to Arequipa.
Llahuar Trek 3 Day:
This is not the classic 3 day Trek inside the Colca Canyon. This hike includes the hike to Llahuar, where you will spend the night and on the second night you will sleep in Sangalle. This hike requires 4 hours hiking per day.
4 Day Trek Colca Canyon:
This is 4 day Trek inside the Colca Canyon and includes a 5 hours hiking per day. You will spend the first night in Fure and the visit to Huaruro waterfall. The next day you will walk to Llahuar, where you can relax in the hot springs. The next day is probably the hardest one, as you will walk to Sangallefor spending the last night.
