The Colca Canyon Trek 3 Days from Arequipa is the ideal option for travelers who want to explore the canyon at a more relaxed pace, with more time to enjoy its landscapes, culture, and unique atmosphere. Unlike the 2-day trek, this experience allows for a deeper immersion into one of the world’s deepest canyons without feeling rushed.

With an early 3:00 AM departure from Arequipa, the journey begins with scenic views of the Andes and a stop at the famous Cruz del Cóndor, where you may observe the majestic Andean condors in flight.

The trek starts at Pampa San Miguel, descending into the canyon through spectacular landscapes and traditional villages. Over three days, you will hike along ancient trails, interact with local communities, and experience the diversity of ecosystems that make Colca Canyon so unique.

This 3-day Colca Canyon hike is considered moderate in difficulty, making it more manageable than the 2-day version, as the walking distances are better distributed. You will spend two nights inside the canyon, including a stay in the beautiful Sangalle Oasis, surrounded by palm trees and natural pools.

The experience also includes a visit to the Colca hot springs, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and recover while enjoying the natural thermal waters.

Due to its balanced pace and immersive experience, the Colca Canyon Trek 3 Days is highly recommended for travelers looking for a complete and authentic trekking adventure in Peru.
