Arequipa and Colca Canyon Tour 5D/4N ​

Arequipa and Colca Canyon Tour 5D/4N, includes the visit to Arequipa the "White City" and Its highlights: City, Salinas and Colca Canyon in 4 days.

Day 1: Arequipa - Guided City Tour

Transfer in from the airport or bus station to the hotel. In the afternoon, guided city tour to: San Camilo market, La compañia church, Plaza de armas, Cathedral, Santa Catalina Monastery and San Lazaro.

Day 2: Salinas Full Day Tour

Pick up from the hotel at 6:15AM and departure to Salinas. Along the way we will stop in: Mirador de los Volcanes in Chiguata; this is a natural viewpoint from where we can watch the volcanoes.

Later we will arrive to  Chiguata plaza,  where there is a traditional church, at this place we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Then we will continue our journey  until Alto Simbral (4200 MASL) where we will be able to watch local plants in the area such as the Queñua, Yareta, Tola , etc.

Continuing our journey we will arrive at the Salinas  where we will watch flamingos,   vicuñas, llamas and alpacas.

Then we will head towards the Hot Springs and mini volcano of Lojen to enjoy a relaxing bath. Finally we will return to Chiguata for lunch and then we will begin our way back to the city of Arequipa.

Arrive to Arequipa at 5PM.

Day 3: Arequipa - Patapampa - Chivay - Hot Springs

At 7:30AM, pick up from the hotels in Arequipa and thern we begin the trip to the second deepest and most beautiful canyons in the world.
Then we leave to Chivay, stopping along the way in Pampa Cañahuas, where we can see vicuñas, then we will visit Patahuasi for drinking a coca tea for altitude sickness (soroche).
Later, we will arrive to Bofedales de Toccra where we will watch alpacas grazing freely in the area. Afterwards we will arrive to the Mirador de los Volcanes, the highest point of the road that reaches 4900 meters above sea level, from where we will watch a large part of the western mountain range. Arrive to Chivay.

Buffet lunch in Chivay. Then you will be dropped off to the hotels; during the afternoon we can enjoy a relaxing time in the hot springs of La Calera.
Return and dinner with a folk show. Overnight in Chivay.

Day 4: Chivay - Mirador de La Cruz del Condor - Arequipa

Early breakfast and departure to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, this is a natural viewpoint from where we can watch the Colca Canyon and the condors. At this point we will spend an average of 45 minutes to be able to observe the beauty of the valley.

On the way back we will stop at the viewpoints for watching the impressive andean terraces in Wayrapunko, Antahuilque and Choquetico hang over tombs and Maca town, where we will see its church and optionally taste local drinks such as Colca Sour,

Buffet Lunch in Chivay and departure to Arequipa city. Arrive and drop off to the hotel.

Day 5: Transfer Out
