Colca Canyon Honeymoon Tour 3D/2N

Live the adventure and romancing with a Colca Canyon Honeymoon Tour 3D/2N. This excursion includes the overnight at Colca Lodge, horse riding activities and hiking in the Colca Valley.

Day 1: Arequipa - Chivay - Colca Lodge

Pick up  at 7:00 AM, the tour guide will meet you in your Arequipa hotel and then we will start the honeymoon tour to the Colca Canyon, the second deepest in the world.

Along the way we will arrive to the 4200m where is located the Pampa Cañahuas Natural Reserve, at this place we will watch vicugnas, lamas and alpagas. We will arrive to Patahuasi for drinking a coca tea.

Arrival to the highest point of Patapampa, located at 4800 MASL, a natural viewpoint where we will see the mountain range.
At midday we will arrive to Chivay town, located at 3600m. Lunch in Chivay and  transfer to the Colca Lodge hotel.

In the lodge you will enjoy and relax in the hot springs and enjoy  the dinner.

Day 2: Colca Lodge - Cruz del Condor - Horse Riding

Breakfast and departure to La Cruz del Condor viewpoint, along the way we will stop in the natural viewpoints: Antahuilque and Wayrapunko and the hang over tombs. Arrive to Cruz del Condor viewpoint, where we will watch the andean condor. At this place we will do a short hile for around  50 minutes to Cruz del Cura. Then we will  leave to Tapay viewpoint where we will do another shor hike for enjoying the andean landscape.

Return to the Colca lodge, lunch in the hotel and pick up to the ranch. We will do a 2 hour horseback ride activity.

A route with spectacular views of the agricultural terraces of the Colca Valley. We leave Yanque passing through the main square and observing the church, then we will cross the colonial bridge Cervantes, climbing up through bridle paths until entering to the fields and platforms, with explanations of manual techniques ancient and current agriculture and management of sacred waters of the Colca Valley.

Passing the Qete Atecca water reservoir, original from Pre-Incas time, we will continue enjoying the landscape and waterfall until reaching the archaeological complex of Uyo Uyo.

The route consists of flat sections both uphill and downhill small trails through the mountains, returning to the town of Yanque by the Siphon bridge,  observing the tombs Chininea pendants.

Return to Colca Lodge and dinner. Overnight.

Day 3: Colca Lodge - Chivay - Canocota - Arequipa

Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Chivay, to La Calera hot sprinngs. At this place we will start a hike up to Canocota town, following an ancient path who will drive us to the Canocota town.
