Day 1: International Arrival - Lima

Welcome to Lima. Upon arrival you will be assisted at the Lima airport and then transferred to your hotel. Accommodation in Lima

Meals included: None.

Day 2: Lima

Breakfast and Lima City Tour to the Historical Center and Santo Domingo.

You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a “huaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before arriving to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. Accommodation in Lima.

Day 3: Lima - Arequipa

Transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport to board the flight to the City of Arequipa.

Upon arrival in Arequipa, pick up and transfer to the hotel.

Arequipa City Tour: Santa Catalina Monastery and Church of the Company of Jesus (Half day tour)

Pick up from the hotel, and guided visit to Los Claustros de la Compañía de Jesús, to begin your walk through the Plaza de Armas.  Then, you will go to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, founded in 1580, where you can appreciate its cloisters, picturesque streets and squares, which have remained intact over the centuries.  Afterwards, you will go to the Church of La Compañía de Jesús, a temple that constitutes the oldest and most important testimony of religious architecture made with ashlar volcanic stone.

Day 4: Arequipa - Colca

Breakfast and pick up from the hotel to begin an unforgettable trip. Travel through  the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Pampa Cañahuas. Stop in Patapampa for taking pictures of the Mountain range, before continuing to the town of Chivay, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon visit to the thermal waters of the Calera. Accommodation  in Colca.

Day 5: Colca - Puno

Breakfast and departure for visiting the Cruz del Condor and then leaving from the Colca Canyon to Puno.

You will go to the Cruz del Cóndor, the best location to admire the Colca Canyon a the flight of the majestic condors. Then, you will start the way out of the Colca Valley, visiting the picturesque villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Chivay. Lunch in Chivay and then departure to Puno.

Day 6: Puno

Breakfast and transfer to the Puno's port for travelling to Taquile Island, where the community kindly welcomes  tourists, keeping alive their traditions, customs and colorful clothing. Then visit the floating islands of the Uros, also called the Town of the Lake, because these islands are built with layers of totora and serve as homes and trading centers for the natives.

Day 7: Puno - Cusco

Breakfast and pick up from the hotel and transfer to the bus station for boarding the guided bus to Cusco, to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco. You will continue with a visit to La Raya, highest point on the road between Cusco and Puno, from where you will have excellent photographic views Then visit the ruins of Racchi, also known as "The Temple of God Wiracocha." The last stop will be in Andahuaylillas, a city where there is a beautiful church of the XXVII century has an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. Finally, you will arrive in Cusco.

Day 8: Cusco

Breakfast and free morning.

In the afternoon, guided  Cusco City Tour: San Pedro market, Korikancha Temple, Cathedral, Sacsayhuamán and Qenqo (Half-day tour)

You will visit the city of Cusco, you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.

Day 9: Cusco – Maras and Moray

Breakfast and pick up from the hotel in Cusco and departure to  the Sacred Valley.

Then we will visit the Maras salt mines; as the name indicates, they are salt mines formed by around 5000 small pops, each one producing approximately 50 to 80 kilos of salt per season. These are watered by an underground salt water spring; this process is completely natural and lasts about 2 months.

You will head towards Moray, a fascinating archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Its huge concentric terraces were used by the Incas as a botanical laboratory. Then, . Afterwards, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo, which stands out for maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of its original urban layout. Here you canvisit the local market.

Day 10: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu Tour with Voyager or Expedition Train round-trip (Full-day tour)

Breakfast and early in the morning you will be transferred to the train station. You will visit one of the world's most famous landmarks: the citadel of Machu Picchu. The excursion begins on board the train. Upon your arrival to Machu Picchu town, you will begin your ascent to Machu Picchu, where, surely, you will live one of the most unforgettable experiences. Once there, you can walk through every corner of one of the Seven Wonders of the world, accompanied by an expert guide, and enjoy free time to explore the area. Later, you will head down to Machu Picchu town and settle into your hotel.

Day 11: Machu Picchu - Cusco

Breakfast and free morning, this time to walk on your own, relax in the place or take impressive photos. In the afternoon, board the train that will take you back to Ollantaytambo and then transfer to Cusco.

Day 12: Cusco – International Departure

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight.
