The Huaruro waterfall includes a hike inside the Colca Canyon during 4 or 3 days.
This trekking involve crossing the river and a great variety of ecosystems to finish in a spectacular waterfall of dry and arid puna environment.
The level of effort is moderate to demanding, requiring previous experience and adaptation to altitude. It can be done from the months of April to October, the best time being between April and May, when the rains end and the landscape is generous and abundant with greenery.
Another more direct option would be to go from Cabanaconde, through the town of Paclla and from there to the waterfall.
