Day 1: Uros – Amantani Island

Pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the local port. Then we will visit the floating islands of Uros. Main acitivities in these Islands -made of totora- are fishing, hunting, and handwork.

We will then continue towards Amantani island where a family is waiting for us to brings us home, where we will stay this overnight in local family place, they provide their typical food (accommodation and food are very basic). After lunch all the group together walk up to highest point of the island to Pachamama and Pachatata ceremonial centers(4.200 m). Here is the best place to get pictures from all the surround lake.

Day 2: Taquile Island – Puno

At 07.30 am after family breakfast we continue by boat for about 2½ hours to the next island Taquile, here we have a short trek around the island. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles, around these islands there are ruins and Inca terracing. Afterwards we return to Puno.
