In this film directed by Werner Herzog you can appreciate various landscapes of the Amazon jungle. Fitzcarraldo was inspired by Isaías Fermín Fitzcarrald, a rubber merchant in love with opera. In addition, the main actor longs to make the best opera house in the city of Iquitos.
Cabo Blanco (1980)
Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and Dominique Sanda are the main actors in the film Cabo Blanco, made in northern Peru. You can see a group of adventurers navigate the resort of Talara, Piura. The film is about a man who is persecuted by American justice and hides in Cabo Blanco.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
The filming of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” in Peru, at the end of 2021, put the country in the eyes of the world as a location to make movies, becoming the largest international franchise.
Directed by Steven Caple Jr., the seventh installment of the saga was recorded between September and November of last year in locations such as the city of Cusco, the Machu Picchu citadel and the Tarapoto jungle.
